Changing the language of the email signature
You can easily sign emails in different languages using eformity. This article explains how to change the language of your email signature in a few steps. These steps are as follows:
- Open the sidebar in Microsoft Outlook
- Translate the employee's data
- Select the translated email signature
Step 1: Open the sidebar in Microsoft Outlook
To change the language of the email signature, you first need to open Microsoft Outlook. Then, create a new email in the usual way. The sidebar will open automatically.
If this does not happen, you can manually open the sidebar by using the 'Sidebar' button in the ribbon. This button is circled in the image below.

Step 2: Translate the employee's data
To change the language of an email signature, a translation must be available. You can translate the data used in an email signature in the 'Employee' window. To access this, click on the 'profile photo' in the sidebar.

Once you click on the 'profile photo', the 'My Account' section will open. In your account, click on the section with 'Employee'. This will open the employee window.

In the employee window, select the employee for whom you want to add the language. Click on the employee's name (or row). The background of the selected employee will turn light blue. Then click on 'Edit'.

A new window will open. In this window, you can add new translations. Do this by clicking on the language in the selected part (number 2 in the image below). You can now add the translation for this employee.

By clicking 'Finish' in the above dialog, you will immediately create a new (translated) signature. You can now select the new signature from the sidebar (sometimes only after restarting Outlook).
Step 3: Select the translated email signature
You can select a signature by double-clicking it (relatively quickly). Alternatively, you can select a signature by clicking on it first and then clicking on the 'Play' icon. This icon is circled in the image below.
