Adding translations
If multiple languages are activated, you can add translations for these languages. The system already includes a large number of translations by default. This article explains how to add additional translations.
Step 1: Log in to eformity.net
To add translations, you first need to log in to the eformity web environment. You do this by going to yourcompanyname.eformity.net. If you frequently use the web environment, you will be automatically logged in.
Note
You can also add translations via the sidebar, but it is recommended for template administrators to use the web environment.
Step 2: Navigate to 'Configuration' in the menu
Once logged in to the web environment, navigate to the 'Configuration' section. You can do this using the menu button, which is located at the top left of the navigation. See the image below for visual support.

After clicking the menu button, the menu will open on the left side of the website. This menu contains various tiles. Click on the tile labeled 'Configuration' to add translations. The tile is circled in the image below.

Optional: Open 'Translations'
In most cases, translations will open automatically. If not, you can navigate to translations by clicking on the item labeled 'Translations' in the left menu.

Step 3: Add 'Translations' & 'Groups'
You will now see an overview of the translations. By default, there are already a large number of translations included, divided into different folders:
- System
- Cultures
- ClientMain
- ClientSettings
- MicrosoftOfficeAddin
- ImageSelection
- SidePanel: add translations here for items in the Text Blocks panel
- Dialog: add translations here for dialogs
- Template: add translations here for templates
Note
All text in eformity’s software (web environment, sidebar, template manager, etc.) falls under standard translations.
Add a group
Adding groups can be useful if you have a lot of translations. By using groups you can easily find a specific translation later on. To create a group, click on 'Add group'.

When you click on 'Add group', a new element will appear. In this element, enter the name of the new group. Then create the group by clicking the 'Create' button.

Tip!
You can create subgroups by first selecting the main group. This allows you to further subdivide translations.
Add a translation
To add a translation, first click (if desired) on a group. Once you have selected a group, you can add a new translation by clicking on 'Add'.

Just like when adding a group, a new element will appear on the page. In this new element, first enter the name of your new translation. Then add the text you want to translate and its translations.

Why do some languages have two input fields?
In some countries different dialects are spoken. The extra input fields are intended for these dialects.
