Eformity provides the option to use different languages for both input screens (dialogs) and documents. Before you can use the translations, you need to activate the languages first. This article explains the process for activating languages step by step.

Step 1: Log in to eformity.net

Adding languages for input screens (dialogs) and documents is done through the eformity web environment. Therefore, you need to log in at yourcompanyname.eformity.net. If you frequently use the web environment, you will be automatically logged in.

Step 2: Open 'My subscription' within the web environment

Once logged in to the web environment, navigate to the 'My subscription' page. You can find this page by clicking on the gear icon first. This gear icon is located next to the profile photo in the top right corner of the navigation bar. The gear icon is circled in the image below.

After clicking the gear icon, a sidebar will open on the right side of the page. In this sidebar, you will find the link to 'My subscription'. Click on this link. The link is circled in the image below.

Step 3: Click on the 'Languages' dropdown menu

After clicking on 'My subscription', a new page will open. This page displays all options related to the subscription, including languages. To add a language, first click on the dropdown menu labeled 'Languages'.

Step 4: Add a new language for 'Document' and/or 'Dialog'

The dropdown menu will now open. Two items will appear under languages: 'Document' and 'Dialog'. Click on one of the options depending on where you want to add a language (in the dialog or document).

Add a new document language

When you click on 'Document' in the dropdown menu, an overview of all existing document languages will appear. To add a new language, click on the 'Add' text. This option is circled in the image below.

A new element will open on the right side of the page. In this new element, you can search for a language (number 1 in the image), select it (by clicking on the language), and then add it (number 3 in the image). Below, you can see how this element looks when opened.

Add a new dialog language

If you click on 'Dialog' instead of 'Document', an overview of all existing dialog languages will open. To add a dialog language, click on the 'Add' text. This option is circled in the image shown below.

Just like with the document language, a new element will open on the right side of the page. In this new element, you can again search for a language (1 in the image), select it (by clicking on the language), and then add it (number 3 in the image).

Note

Dialog languages are not country-specific, but document languages are. This allows for regional differences to be processed in the documents.
