How to save individual slides
Besides storing images, icons, and shapes, eformity also allows you to save individual slides as reusable assets. In this guide, we’ll explain what slides are within eformity, how they work, and how to create, edit, and delete them.
What are individual slides?
In eformity, slides are standalone presentation pages—similar to those in Microsoft PowerPoint. They can contain visual or textual elements that are reused across multiple templates or presentations. Think of them as modular building blocks that help maintain consistent design and content throughout your organization.
Saving a slide to a library
Slides can be added to eformity through both Microsoft PowerPoint and the web interface. However, uploading slides directly from PowerPoint is generally more convenient. In this example, we’ll use PowerPoint to demonstrate how to add, modify, and delete individual slides.
Step 1: Open the eformity side panel in PowerPoint
Before uploading a slide, make sure the eformity side panel is visible in PowerPoint. In most cases, it opens automatically. If it doesn’t, click the Task Pane button to open it manually.

Step 2: Activate Edit mode
Only template administrators can upload and manage slides. Click your profile picture (see the image below) in the Task Pane and enable Edit mode by toggling the switch. Once activated, you’ll gain access to the management options.

Step 3: Go to the Slides section
After enabling Edit mode, locate the Slides section in the side panel. This is where all your saved slides are stored. The image below shows where to find the Slides button in PowerPoint.

Step 4: Add the slide to your library
To upload a slide, first create or select one in your PowerPoint presentation. You can design a new slide from scratch or reuse an existing one. Once your slide is ready, select it (1 in the image) and click the + icon (2 in the image) in the eformity side panel to save it to your library.

After clicking the + icon, you’ll be prompted to enter some additional details about the slide. These include the Name, Display name, and Description fields.

| Field name | Description |
|---|---|
| Name (required) | Give the slide a name. |
| Display name | Provide a more descriptive name for end users. |
| Description | Set an additional description for how and when to use the slide. |
