Creating users as an administrator
Generally, users can create their own accounts to log in to eformity.net. However, there are times when it is preferable for administrators to create user accounts. This article explains how to do this.
Step 1: Log in to the eformity web environment
To add users as an administrator, first log in to the eformity web environment. Go to yourcompanyname.eformity.net and log in with your personal credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the 'System Management' section
Once logged in, click the hamburger menu icon to navigate to the system management section. This is circled in the image below.

A new element with up to five different tiles will open on the left side of the page. Click on the tile titled 'System Management'.

Step 3: Add a new user
You will typically land on the user overview page. If not, click 'Users' (number 1 in the image). Then, you can add a new user by clicking the 'Add' button (number 2 in the image).

After clicking 'Add,' a new element will appear on the right side of the page. Fill in the details of the new user. The table below explains each field.
Field name | Description |
---|---|
Email (required) | Enter the new user's email address – this will be the user's login name. Ensure to use the domain name associated with the subscription. |
Time zone | Select the user's correct time zone. |
Active | Check 'Active' to activate the user. |
Cleanup protection | Check this option to prevent the user from being automatically cleaned up. |
Administrator | Check this box if the new user should have administrator rights. |
Full name | Enter the new user's full name. |
First name (required) | Enter the user's first name. |
Last name (required) | Enter the new user's last name. |
Gender | Choose the user's gender. |
Phone number | Enter the user's phone number. |
Step 4: Set a password
With the previous steps, you have created a new user. You may have noticed that no password has been set yet. To set a password, select the new user and click the 'Open' button.

A new screen will appear where you can edit the user's options. Click the 'Set password' button to set a new password. Enter the new password. The image below provides a visual representation.

You have successfully created a new user within eformity! The new user can now log in with their email address and the created password.
